One simple toggle switch can control the fuel selector valves and the Vegtherm inline heater. (Shown here in a 2004 Golf).
Optima battery in 2004 Golf: replaces original. The Optima has the cranking power of the original battery, but a smaller footprint, which makes room for VM2 filter and valves to be mounted onto the plastic battery tray.

Here is the other side of the plywood spare tire cover. Spare tire can be removed without moving tank or hoses.
Here is the same 45L tank installed into a T3 Vanagon/Westfalia.
Custom installation into a 2004 Jetta wagon. The car was converted brand new. It has been driven over 150,000 km on Canola WVO.
We sell an updated version of this tank on the web site. It now has an integrated coolant loop built into the tank instead of the Hotfox. It goes under the spare tire, as well. There is a hole for the spare tire rod and an extension for the tie down rod so that the spare tire and tank are secured. The capacity is close to that of the original tank. A fuel level sender is included.
Here is a custom tank installed in a 2000 Jetta sedan.

Custom tank (Man-a-Fre?) which the owner had us install into his Landcruiser.
A 60L tank with a 1/2" standpipe and bulkhead fitting installed. This can be done where a Hotfox tank heater is not needed (oil will be liquid, ambient temperatures will be above freezing most of the time). This can be part of an inexpensive kit for warmer regions of the world. All components ship inside the tank. We have also shipped the 2T-SD45 and 2T-SD60 kits to various countries (e.g. northern Norway, Mongolia, etc.). The entire kit ships inside the tank.
